Use this template to embed from Wikipedia the definition of a term or topic.

== Use ==

Basic usage will output the first sentence from the Wikipedia article followed by a reference to the source:

* <code><nowiki>{{Wikipedia definition|Sun}}</nowiki></code> → {{Wikipedia definition|Sun}}

If the title is omitted, the title of the current page will be used. If the title is a redirect, it'll be followed:

* <code><nowiki>{{Wikipedia definition|Local star}}</nowiki></code> → {{Wikipedia definition|Local star}}

If the first sentence is not enough, you can specify the number of sentences (also consider editing Wikipedia to fix it):

* <code><nowiki>{{Wikipedia definition|Sun|sentences=2}}</nowiki></code> → {{Wikipedia definition|Sun|sentences=2}}

If the page is in a language other than English, this template will get the definition from the corresponding Wikipedia. So for example, if your page is in Spanish, the definition will come from the Spanish Wikipedia.
